Growing White Leadership for Racial Equity Online

Deeper awareness, partnership, and activism for racial equity in leadership.

Description

In Rockwood’s Growing White Leadership for Racial Equity, participants will develop personal power, concrete skills, and white anti-racist community to strengthen their leadership around organizational challenges related to race equity.

Together we will:

  • Deepen our Purpose for doing race equity work
  • Identify habits that undermine our partnerships and practice antidotes
  • Explore what it means for us to be  accountable in our relationships with our BIPOC and White colleagues
  • Enhance our ability to manage our internal state around race equity situations that often push us off center
  • Resource ourselves and each other in service of wellbeing, courage, and sustainability as we grow our leadership for racial equity
  • Share compelling visions for advancing race equity in our organizations

To foster deep learning within an online setting, this training blends various modalities to allow you to engage with your own inner wisdom, the material, and with other leaders. This training includes live facilitation via Zoom, self-paced work like personal journaling/reflection, and pair/small group work to help you connect and build community with other participants online.

Each day is broken up into two, 2-3 hour Zoom sessions with an hour lunch break in between.
