Directions

Big Bear Retreat Center is most easily accessed by the following airports:

• San Bernardino International Airport (1 hour and 30 minutes)
• Ontario International Airport (1 hour and 45 minutes)
• Palm Springs International Airport (2 hours)
• Los Angeles International Airport (3 hours)

Check-in is from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and checkout is at 11:00 AM.

It is the participant's responsibility to arrange transportation to and from the site. If you have questions about getting to the site, check out Getting to BBRC or contact Big Bear Retreat Center at info@bigbearretreatcenter.org. 

Parking

Big Bear Retreat Center offers complimentary self-parking outside Eating Hall and some sleeping cabins.

Sometimes GPS will take guests to the back gate on Hillen Dale as opposed to the front gate located on Sugarpine Road. Please type 1000 Sugarpine Road into your GPS to avoid confusion.

• The grounds are hilly. Big Bear Retreat Center can provide golf carts to support travel to and from meeting, sleeping and meals spaces on the site.
• There are a few ADA compliant rooms and bathrooms.
• All meeting and meal spaces are ADA accessible.
• Gender neutral restrooms are available.
• Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
