Long Arc Strategy for LIO Alums
Long Arc Strategy for LIO Alums
Description
We are living in liminal space where the old systems are collapsing but the new ways of being are still emerging while threatened by the rise of authoritarianism and the climate crisis. Leading in these times is both challenging and high stakes. We need to lead in ways that connect to the past and the future generations, grounded in spirit and mutuality, and make bold leaps ahead. To this end, we are pleased to offer a cross-cohort Long Arc strategy retreat with Norma Wong to turn toward the practice of Long Arc strategy
The purpose of this retreat is to provide LIO alums an opportunity to learn and work together in developing a Long Arc strategy and prepare to take leaps they want and need to make now.
Desired outcomes include:
-
Refresher and practice of Forward Stance and 10-step Tai-Ji
-
Refresher on Principles of Offensive Strategy and Habits That Hinder Offensive Strategy
-
Practice of future storytelling as a way to develop the Long Arc
-
Development of the Collective Long Arc
-
Relationship building and deepening across cohorts
The retreat will combine teachings, conversations, application, physical practice, and spaciousness.
